Full-pay members have:

Total plan costs for children ages 5 through 18 are based on household size and income.

Eligibility Calculator

Estimate your monthly premium now

From birth through the end of age 18, Florida children are eligible for head to toe coverage, no matter where one or both parents are working. If you’re interested in applying for Florida KidCare coverage for your child(ren), use this simple cost calculator to estimate what your monthly premium payment would be. Most families pay nothing at all, and many pay as little as just $15 or $20 a month for all children in the household.

DO Include:

  • Your spouse
  • Your children under 21 who live with you
  • Your unmarried partner who needs health coverage
  • Anyone you include on your tax return, even if they don’t live with you
  • Anyone else under 21 who you take care of and lives with you

You DON’T have to include:

  • Your unmarried partner who doesn’t need health coverage
  • Your unmarried partner’s children
  • Your parents who live with you, but file their own tax return (if you’re over 21)
  • Other adult relatives who file their own tax return

Take the gross income (money earned in a 12-month calendar year before any deductions are taken) for each person in your family and add them together. This amount will be your Annual Household Income.

To qualify for Florida KidCare coverage, a child must be a U.S. citizen or lawfully-residing immigrant and meet all other eligibility requirements. Coverage options are available for qualifying children from birth through the end of age 18.
